教育目標 Course Target

課程概述: 現代主義之關注語言的藝術性,與對人內在心靈的審視,在六0年代譯介至臺灣與香港後,同樣帶來新的文字風景,進而通過評論交鋒,跨境交流,奠定兩地書寫形式的典範性,並影響迄今;更重要是作家們拓展了存在、主體性、現代城市經驗、感覺等主題探索。本課程將透過閱讀臺港現代主義文學經典,認識來自西方的現代主義文藝思潮發展、文化翻譯引入、代表性作家,兩地交流與其經典化歷程等異同。 課程目標及內涵:   文藝思潮有其具體坐落的時空,文學作品也投射著時代的感覺結構,透過爬梳文本發表的文獻、雜誌、翻譯、出版,相關評述,引領學生勾勒文學與時代的關係性,思考現代主義對於新、差異、非理性、主體的重視,回應著臺港戰後什麼時代課題。   現代主義試驗、開展語言的表現性,透過閱讀,培養學生對於文字書寫、文學評論等多樣想像。 Course Overview: Modernism's focus on the artistry of language and the examination of people's inner souls also brought new writing landscapes after being translated and introduced to Taiwan and Hong Kong in the 1960s. Through critical exchanges and cross-border exchanges, modernism established the writing form of the two places. It is a model and has influenced so far; more importantly, the writers have expanded the exploration of themes such as existence, subjectivity, modern urban experience, and feeling. This course will read the modernist literary classics of Taiwan and Hong Kong to understand the similarities and differences in the development of modernist literary and artistic trends from the West, the introduction of cultural translation, representative writers, exchanges between the two places and their canonization process. Course objectives and connotation: Literary and artistic trends of thought have their specific time and space, and literary works also project the sensory structure of the times. By combing through documents, magazines, translations, publications, and relevant comments published in the texts, students are led to outline the relationship between literature and the times, and to think about the role of modernism in The emphasis on newness, difference, irrationality, and subjectivity responds to the issues of the post-war era in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Modernism experiments with and develops the expressiveness of language. Through reading, it cultivates students' diverse imaginations in writing, literary criticism, etc.
