詩歌作品在東方與西方文學發展史皆扮演重要腳色，且啟發詩歌體材與其他文類；以詩建立的審美與相關評論方法，亦影響詩歌文類以外之體裁如:小說、散文、戲劇等類，並形塑成以詩審美講求精確、說服力、結構、形式之多元評論方法。本課程以現當代詩歌美學研究、創作為方向，訂定教育目標為跨文類鑑賞、文學評論能力。Poetry plays an important role in the history of the development of Eastern and Western literature, and inspires the genre of poetry and other genres; the aesthetics and related criticism methods established by poetry also influence genres other than poetry, such as novels, essays, and dramas. and other categories, and formed a multi-commentary method that emphasizes precision, persuasion, structure, and form based on poetic aesthetics.
