教育目標 Course Target

本課程為歷史學系台灣史領域、銜接台灣史(上)之必修課程。課程內容主要以近代化後至當代的台灣歷史作為講授、研討對象,時間軸範圍含涉清領開埠後,乃至於全球化之台灣經濟發展過程,但特別著重於資本近代化加速的日治時期以及戰後族群意識演化等的歷史變遷。基於以上,本課程將修習內容分為三大部分。 第一部分為近代後台灣史之觀念。此部分先說明柄谷行人的「世界=帝國」文明圈構造轉化至華勒斯坦的「世界=經濟」世界體系的觀點,以此探討台灣於世界歷史中的定位變遷;再來以矢內原忠雄的經典與當代研究探討以殖民作為台灣歷史研究的主流觀點,以及對於相異於西方近代化的不同理解視野;之後再以班乃迪克想像的共同體作為基礎,教授台灣近代發展中的群體意識的變化,以及學術界的分析與理解;另外講授時代精神(Zeitgeist)之概念,讓修習者能夠有剖析社會發展中的各種現象集成,理解於不同時期整體社會有著不同的模式。最後再以1950年代後的台灣史學乃至於新史學的觀點發展作為觀念傳授之總結。 第二部分為台灣政治、經濟在近代化後發展下的社會過程史,是以通史的方式講授課程。這部分原則上講授下列觀點為基礎的歷史分期。西方勢力進入與大清全島統治、改朝換代與族群齟齬、殖產興業下的處境、統治成熟與戰爭窘迫、「光復」後的境遇、西方陣營與威權統治、成熟經濟與社會改革、民主化與多元化、全球競爭下的發展與困境。 第三部分為議題式研討與探究方法。此部分先由授課教員傳授台灣史的多種可能切入視角、既有的研究方法以及各種文獻資料庫資源運用與操作;接者授課教員並講授台灣史研究之案例,分析其研究觀點與分析手法,目前暫以區域史、建築史作為主題;最後由課程修習者嘗試以議題性方式分組研討,並於課程中發表其組內統合之史觀與研討分析過程。以上分組研討修習者可依小組共識選定a.族群群體、b.文化藝術、c.物質社會、d.涉外政治、e.思想意識等主要視點。 上述本課程之三大部分會依修習者學習狀況調整或更改進度,此外也預計安排台灣史的一日史蹟踏察行程,並斟酌情況邀請台灣史研究之專家於課堂進行專題講座。This course is a required course in the field of Taiwan History in the Department of History and is a bridging course to Taiwan History (Part 1). The content of the course mainly focuses on the history of Taiwan from post-modernization to contemporary times as the object of teaching and research. The timeline covers Taiwan’s economic development process from the opening of the Qing Dynasty to globalization, but particularly focuses on the Japanese colonial rule that accelerated the modernization of capital. period and the evolution of ethnic consciousness after the war. Based on the above, this course divides the training content into three parts. The first part is the concept of modern post-Taiwan history. This part first explains the transformation of Karatani Yukito's "world = empire" civilizational circle structure into Wallerstein's "world = economy" world system, in order to explore the changes in Taiwan's positioning in world history; then, it will use Tadao Yanaihara The classic and contemporary research explores colonialism as the mainstream view of Taiwanese historical research, and the different understandings of modernization that are different from those in the West; and then uses Benedict's imaginary community as a basis to teach the group consciousness in Taiwan's modern development Changes, as well as analysis and understanding in academia; in addition, the concept of Zeitgeist is taught, allowing practitioners to analyze the integration of various phenomena in social development and understand that the overall society has different patterns in different periods. Finally, the concept teaching is summarized with the perspective development of Taiwanese historiography and even new historiography after the 1950s. The second part is the history of the social process of Taiwan's political and economic development after modernization. The course is taught in the form of general history. This part teaches the principles of historical periodization based on the following perspectives. The entry of Western forces and the rule of the whole island by the Qing Dynasty, dynasty changes and ethnic discord, the situation under the colonial industry, mature rule and war embarrassment, the situation after the "Liberation", the Western camp and authoritarian rule, mature economic and social reforms, democratization and pluralism development and dilemmas under globalization and global competition. The third part is topic-based discussion and inquiry methods. In this part, the teaching faculty first teaches the various possible perspectives of Taiwan history, existing research methods, and the use and operation of various literature database resources. The teaching faculty then teaches cases of Taiwan history research and analyzes their research perspectives and analytical techniques. Currently, regional history and architectural history are the themes. In the end, course practitioners will try to conduct group discussions in a topic-based manner, and publish their integrated historical views and research and analysis processes within the group in the course. Practitioners of the above group discussions can select main perspectives such as a. ethnic groups, b. culture and art, c. material society, d. foreign-related politics, e. ideology, etc. based on group consensus. Most of the above three parts of this course will be adjusted or changed according to the learning status of the students. In addition, it is expected to arrange a one-day historical tour of Taiwan history, and consider inviting experts in Taiwan history research to give special lectures in the classroom.

本課程旨在講授日治時期以迄戰後的臺灣歷史,讓學生了解臺灣歷史發展歷程及其特色,以及影響臺灣歷史發展的主要因素,進而培養歷史思維和批判思考之能力,涵養深入關心現代社會的情懷和人文素養。
This course aims to teach the history of Taiwan from the Japanese colonial period to the post-war period, allowing students to understand the historical development process and characteristics of Taiwan, as well as the main factors affecting Taiwan's historical development, thereby cultivating the ability of historical thinking and critical thinking, and cultivating a deep concern for modern times. Social feelings and humanistic qualities.
