本課程では、１学期の実習の課題をふまえ、自身の語学の学習経験を内省しながら、将来、塾や高校やオンライン授業などの教師として日本語を教える時に役立つコースデザインと教材作成の方法を学ぶ。またこうした活動を通して言語教育の意味を考えて、自分の教育活動に内省をする。
1.さまざまな言語教育の目的と方法を学ぶ
2.教科書の構成、多元的な教材、教具を学ぶ
3.目的に合う教材や教具（例：文法、読解、聴解、翻訳、映像、デジタル教材、リソース教材）を作る
4.さまざまな教授法を学び目的に合う教室活動をデザインする
5.学習者の学習目的や時間を考慮してコースデザインを行う
6.特定の学習者（例：年少者、地域の住民、甲南キャンプ関係者）を対象にコースデザインを行い、教材も作って教育活動を行う。
