本課程以教授日本古典文學的經典作品為主。摘節著名古典文學作品的片段閱讀，指導學生如何閱讀古典文學作品。引導同學認識日本的古典文學及著名作家，並建立有關古代日本的文化及生活之基礎知識。This course focuses on teaching classic works of Japanese classical literature. Read excerpts from famous classical literary works to guide students how to read classical literary works. Guide students to understand Japanese classical literature and famous writers, and build basic knowledge about ancient Japanese culture and life.
日本古典表象文化論（二）在（一）之後，我們的目標是透過欣賞古典作品來獲得對古老日語、過去文化和生活樣態的一定程度的認知。另外，我們將持續觀察一件古典作品的形成，可能引用自日本或中國的其他古典作品，或受到其影響，甚或影響著現代的文學和藝術。
Theory of Japanese Classical Representational Culture (2) After (1), our goal is to gain a certain degree of understanding of the ancient Japanese language, past culture, and life styles through appreciating classical works. In addition, we will continue to observe the formation of a classical work, which may reference or be influenced by other classical works in Japan or China, or even influence modern literature and art.
