本課程透過閱讀 M. Coeckelbergh's The political Philosophy of AI: an introduction (2022),旨在引導學生探索人工智能(AI)如何深刻影響現代社會的政治結構、個人自由、平等與正義觀念、民主運作、以及人類對非人類實體的認識與關係。課程將挑戰學生反思技術發展如何重新定義政治參與、權力動態、社會關係以及公共倫理,並探討在AI技術驅動的時代中,我們如何能夠實現更加公正、包容和可持續的社會。By reading M. Coeckelbergh's The political Philosophy of AI: an introduction (2022), this course aims to guide students to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) profoundly affects the political structure of modern society, the concepts of personal freedom, equality and justice, the operation of democracy, and Human perceptions of and relationships with non-human entities. The course will challenge students to reflect on how technological developments are redefining political participation, power dynamics, social relations, and public ethics, and explore how we can achieve a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society in an era driven by AI technology.
