3006 - 人文:《禮記》中的人生哲理 Life Philosophy in Liji


教育目標 Course Target

中國號稱承傳千年的禮儀之邦,聲名遠播海外。「禮」既是代表中華民族的文明表徵,也是有別於西方法治文化的一大特點。它的外在形式與儒家道德修養互為表裏,能夠反映東方人文社會的精神底色。孔子曾說:「不學禮,無以立」,禮所涵蓋的範疇甚廣,大至國家禮制儀典的擘劃,小至揖讓進退的規矩,將人類社會發展的各方面包攬無遺。面對儒家偌大的禮教世界,我們該如何理解與學習才好呢?幸好,古人留下了《禮記》這部寶典,提供彌足珍貴的文獻資產。現代人想瞭解中國禮樂文化的精神,從各種日常情境中通過「禮」的實踐,學習有智慧的人生哲理,研讀《禮記》應是時下最好的入門途徑。 本課程將由淺入深,循序漸進向學生介紹傳統儒家「禮」文化的基礎概念,並擇要引領學生選讀《禮記》中的若干篇章,以省思構築美好人生可能觸及的諸多面向,設立「品德修養」、「情感教育」、「人倫關係」、「生命教育」、「生活美學」五大核心課題,並搭配與課程相關的圖文資料、影音視頻和通俗故事,加強學生對古代禮文儀節的印象,冀使學生能夠以《禮記》作為一生修身踐言的圭臬,自發實踐禮樂文明素養,塑造立身處世的理想風範,繼而邁向健康且幸福的人生旅途。China is known as a country with thousands of years of etiquette and its reputation has spread far and wide overseas. "Ritual" is not only a symbol of civilization of the Chinese nation, but also a major feature that is different from Western legal culture. Its external form and Confucian moral cultivation are mutually exclusive and can reflect the spiritual background of Eastern humanistic society. Confucius once said: "If you don't learn etiquette, you can't stand up." The scope of etiquette covers a wide range, ranging from the planning of national etiquette and rituals to the small rules of yielding, advancing and retreating, covering all aspects of the development of human society. Facing the huge world of Confucian ethics, how should we understand and learn from it? Fortunately, the ancients left behind the book "Book of Rites", which provides a precious literary asset. Modern people want to understand the spirit of Chinese ritual and music culture, learn wise philosophy of life through the practice of "rituals" in various daily situations, and studying the "Book of Rites" should be the best way to get started nowadays. This course will gradually introduce students to the basic concepts of traditional Confucian "ritual" culture from the simplest to the more advanced. It will also lead students to read several chapters in the "Book of Rites" to reflect on the many aspects that may be involved in building a better life, and to establish "moral character". The five core topics of "cultivation", "emotional education", "human relations", "life education" and "life aesthetics" are combined with course-related graphic materials, audio-visual videos and popular stories to enhance students' understanding of ancient etiquette and etiquette. The impression is that students can use "Book of Rites" as a guideline for lifelong self-cultivation, consciously practice rituals, music and civilized qualities, shape their ideal style of life, and then move towards a healthy and happy life journey.
