教育目標 Course Target

歷史學的意義,在於提升人類對其所處時勢內在和外在條件的判斷力。透過歷史人物和時代的互動過程,有助於培養我們在瞬息萬變的世界中,面臨關鍵時刻的思辯力和決策力。 臺灣與日本的關係是影響近代東亞歷史變遷的要素之一。由於地理位置相近,兩地自16世紀以來長期相互往來,建立密切的關係。本課程將從東亞史、海洋史的跨領域視角,引導學生瞭解16世紀以迄20世紀臺、日兩地的歷史發展脈絡。講授內容將從依照時代順序,敘述各時期影響東亞海域發展的歷史要素和歷史事件,並挑選具代表性的歷史人物為例,說明個別人物如何在歷史洪流中因應各種條件限制而做決策及其影響,闡述東亞史上圍繞著臺灣與日本的政治、軍事、經濟及文化交流史。教學方式以講授法為主,分組活動為輔,並配合教學進度,引導學生閱讀相關文獻、觀賞影片、分組討論,培養歷史思辯能力,以及跨時代、跨區域的歷史思維。 The significance of history is to enhance human beings' ability to judge the internal and external conditions of the current situation in which they live. Through the interactive process of historical figures and eras, it helps to cultivate our thinking and decision-making skills at critical moments in a rapidly changing world. The relationship between Taiwan and Japan is one of the factors affecting the historical changes in modern East Asia. Due to their geographical proximity, the two places have had long-term exchanges with each other and established close relations since the 16th century. This course will guide students to understand the historical development of Taiwan and Japan from the 16th century to the 20th century from the interdisciplinary perspective of East Asian history and maritime history. The teaching content will be based on the chronological order, describing the historical factors and historical events that affected the development of East Asian maritime areas in each period, and selecting representative historical figures as examples to explain how individual figures made decisions in response to various conditions in the historical torrent and their Influence, it elaborates on the history of political, military, economic and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and Japan in the history of East Asia. The teaching method is mainly lectures, supplemented by group activities, and coordinated with the teaching progress, guiding students to read relevant documents, watch videos, and discuss in groups to cultivate historical thinking skills and cross-era and cross-regional historical thinking.
