教育目標 Course Target

■※課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) (限2000中文字) 全球透過資訊傳播傳遞大量的假新聞已嚴重影響人民的生活,唯有通過訓練和培養可以讓人產生批判性的思維,這樣的識讀能力可以抵抗片面宣傳和陰謀論(UNSCO, 2021)。為學生開設新聞識讀的相關課程,提高對媒體與新聞的理解能力以保護自己,是非常重要的。媒體識讀教育培養批判性思考能力,能夠評估媒體訊息,並自行決定其生活中媒體傳播的真實性、虛假性或偏見(Dell, 2019)。奧地利家庭和青年部所提出的媒體和訊息識讀政策提出,媒體識讀被定義為使用媒體、理解和批判性評估媒體和媒體內容的不同方面,以及在多種環境中進行自我交流的能力。媒體識讀是指所有媒體,包括電視和電影、廣播和不同錄音中的音樂、報紙和雜誌、書籍、網際網路和其他新的數位通信技術。媒體識讀是一項關鍵能力,有助於做出更好的決策,在不同媒體之間做出更明智的選擇,批判性地評估內容和訊息,以及在不同的媒體中進行交流。 「新聞媒體識讀」課程重點,在於幫助本校大學部學生學習大眾傳播理論,參與並使用新媒體,幫助閱聽大眾理解新聞內容,以及正在如何受到新聞的影響。「第四權已死」是當今許多媒體人的感嘆,沒有人相信媒體是中立的,沒人相信媒體有能力報導真實無誤的新聞,更不會相信新聞的產出背後沒有藏著大量的權力與利益,閱聽大眾只能透過自我的思考來辨別新聞。本課程教導媒體素養、大眾傳播理論、新媒體實務等相關內容,針對假新聞、新聞媒體識讀進行深入的探討,並帶領同學了解各國媒體識讀教育與政策推動。 本課程具有以下目標: 2. ■※Course Objectives and Contents (limited to 2000 Chinese characters) A large amount of fake news is transmitted through information dissemination around the world, which has seriously affected people's lives. Only through training and cultivation can people develop critical thinking. Such literacy skills can resist one-sided propaganda and conspiracy theories (UNSCO, 2021). It is very important to provide students with news literacy courses to improve their understanding of media and news to protect themselves. Media literacy education develops the critical thinking skills to evaluate media messages and make decisions for themselves about the truth, falsehood, or bias of media communications in their lives (Dell, 2019). The Media and Message Literacy Policy proposed by the Austrian Ministry of Family and Youth proposes that media literacy is defined as the ability to use media, to understand and critically evaluate different aspects of media and media content, and to communicate with oneself in a variety of contexts. Media literacy refers to all media, including television and film, radio and music in various recordings, newspapers and magazines, books, the Internet and other new digital communication technologies. Media literacy is a key competency that helps make better decisions, make more informed choices between different media, critically evaluate content and messages, and communicate in different media. The focus of the "News Media Literacy" course is to help our undergraduate students learn mass communication theory, participate in and use new media, and help the reading and listening public understand the content of the news and how they are affected by the news. "The fourth estate is dead" is the lament of many media people today. No one believes that the media is neutral, no one believes that the media has the ability to report true and accurate news, and no one believes that there is not a lot of power hidden behind the output of news. and interests, the reading and listening public can only identify news through their own thinking. This course teaches media literacy, mass communication theory, new media practice and other related contents, conducts in-depth discussions on fake news and news media literacy, and leads students to understand media literacy education and policy promotion in various countries.
